John attended the University of Wyoming and graduated in December of 1984 with a B.S. in Geology. Due to the lack of opportunities in the oil and gas industry at that time, John returned to UW to earn a B.S. in Accounting in 1988. John began his career in the summer of 1988 with Macy & Associates, which evolved into Lenhart, Mason & Associates. Over the past twenty-four years, John has developed specialties in auditing non-profit organizations, construction contractors, oil & gas companies and manufacturers. John also has a varied tax preparation background including individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns. He is also a member of the Wyoming Society of CPAs and the AICPA. Currently, John is very active in the Toastmasters Internationals program. John enjoys spending his free time with sporting activities and listening to and singing music. When he gets a chance, he likes visiting new places to enjoy life.
